ITS VALENTINES DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY FAVORITE DAY OF THE WHOLE YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
                                                                                                   (and I mean the whole year.)

So class started off with Cyncere reading the blog. :) I really wanted to do the blog!! Ms. Nakada eventually picked me. :) YAY!!!!

We are now reading a beautiful poem. I love poetry..... :) It's so fun :) I also like Shakespeare. If I could meet any historical figure it would be him. Or President Andrew Jackson. He confuses me :o

It's really hard to write the blog and take notes on the sonnet. :( I'll probably borrow them from someone to copy down later.

The poem is really pretty and is comparing a beautiful woman to summer.  Here is how the poem goes

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this and this gives life to thee.

:)

Ms. Nakada says that 'Nothing Gold Can Stay' theme is in it. I agree.
We are now taking about Shakespeare and some theories. Some people think that he doesn't really exist. Ms. Nakada thinks that maybe a lot of people wrote under that pen name. Elise, Mr. Weiss, some other people, and I think that it is fishy that he predicted his own death and maybe didn't die a lot later that records say.

Tyler wants me to talk about him. HERE GOES.....

Tyler, you have beautiful eyes. :)

We are now going to read a poem by Elizabeth Browning. Ms. Nakada is filling us in with information before we read it. Apparetly Elizabeth wrote 43 sonnets during her courtship with her future husband. She showed the poems to him only after they were married for three years. :) That's so cute.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

Emma really wants me to mention her....

Dearest Emma,
     HI! HOW YOU DOIN! YOU ARE THE BEST VALENTINE EVER! I LOVE MY LETTER.... AND GLITTER! I LOVE YOU A LOT. TYLER IS GOING TO BE JELLY THAT I WROTE MORE ABOUT YOU THAN HIM. I CAN ALREADY TELL. YOU ARE SPECIAL CHICKA. I HOPE MY FACE IS SAVED FROM THE BEAR WITH CHAINSAWS FOR HANDS :)

ANYWAYS.... Back to class.

Elizabeth filled her poem with a little irony.

Zoha says hi.

This one person also said hi, but she stole the flower Coleman was going to give me........

....eventually

so yea, I'm not going to say her name. :p

Justin and Tyler said yelled 'Easter Bunny' just now. I think that it is because we are talking about the author's faith fading or something.

Everyone in the classroom across the hall went 'OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH!!!!!!' so our class went 'OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' :)

Skylar told me to mention him.....
I can't write a lot because Ms. Nakada is going to erase it. Probably. Most likely. Anyway.... in the beginning of the school year you scared me when you sat next to me in science. You were quiet and weird. When I asked you a question you were all like '......... *shrug*.......'

Emma just read a very colorful poem.
it goes a little like this......

Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
**** you suck,
So you know what?
**** you.

I don't like it very much. TOO COLORFUL!!!!

we just got some time to write a poem, and now it is time to go.....

BYE :) :) :) :)

- Merry Out!

ps. i love Vincent Nigel Murray
