YAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!! I GET TO DO THE BLOG TODAY!!!!!!
So even before Kimberly officially picks me Tyler tells me to mention him.
I'll do that later because things are starting to get busy. Wait, no I lied. We are not busy
Carla-Wanna-Be-Camila is calling my name.
Our Convo:
Camila: RITA! RITA! RITA! RITA! RITA!
Me: NO! I WONT MENTION YOU
(Elise: You go girl!)
Camila: I'll let you braid my hair!
Me: You said that last time, and the time before that, and the time before that, and the time before that, and the time before that, and the time before that, and before that too.
Camila: I PROMISE!
Me: (Silently weighs options in head) Okay.
You are very pretty.
I put in our convo and said you were pretty.
I get to braid your hair
Mr. Jones is so cool. He found the coolest story in the Lit. Book and is reading it now.
It is actually really cute. The ending is funny.
SO BASICALLY...
There is a dragon who is terrorizing the kingdom. The king offer's his daughter's hand and half of the kingdom to anyone who can slay him. (SIDEPLOT-The queen gets turned into a rosebush) So the wise cobbler's sons each try in turn. When the first two sons ignore their father's advise and get eaten. When the youngest son tried he listened to his father reciting the poem:
Dragon, dragon, how do you do?
I've come from the king to murder you.
And then the dragon laughs and the youngest son slays the dragon, saving his brothers from the belly of the dragon. YAY. They carried back the treasures from the dragon's cave and the Wizard turns back the queen. The story ends there but we can assume that the princess and the youngest son get married and live in prosperity. YAY... happy, sappy ending
I have a little time so im going to mention my Tyler.
Dear Tyler,
I love you so very much as your master. You are the best Dug I could hope for. You are a great singer and actor, I cant wait to see your OZ head. You are an amazing dog, I love playing with your 'fur' and putting it in ponytails. You really do need to do my voicemail.
We now have to do the five questions at the bottom. :0
Daniella is talking to me. She is nice and very pretty. I like her boots (HeHe- inside joke)
Omg! gotta awnser the questions
I MISS YOU SO FREAKING MUCH MS. NAKADA! You should come soon and bring Kiara. Or you could like post a photo of the latest cuteness. I was really surprised when you didnt comment about Kimberly getting 100% without reading the book. In my opinion the book is a bit dull. I mean really dull compared to all we have read this year. I mean it wasnt even a slow trasition, it was just BAMB! DULL! uggghhhh.... i really dont like the book. I usually blow through all the books i am given in class but... BLEHHHHH......
EMMA IS BITING MY SHOULDER! WEIRD!
Dearest Emma-Doll,
Hola! Como estas amiga! (Im going to say that in spanglish) I like spanglish! I love you! You are super amazing! You are an amazing Glinda! You don't have to worry girl! You got this! I absolutely love braiding your hair and putting flowers in it. My goal is for the collection of dead flowers in your bathroom to turn into a giant boquet! oops misspelled that but i cant fix it because it is time to go.
ELLA IS AMAZING!
BYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Rita, thanks for a very detailed blog. First, I'm sorry you aren't enjoying the book. This is the thing, you are going to have to read books you don't like sometimes. Sorry. That's the way it goes. Sometimes they're boring. I happen to think there are some interesting things going on in The Glory Field. I do think Mr. Meyers could have used a stronger editing button (there are some bits that slow the pace down) but overall I like the structure and the way you see how this one family evolves over time. I also like the historical perspectives of the different eras...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I miss you guys too. Kiara is great. I'll post some pictures soon. Bye!
